Policies

In-home training

  1. A 25% deposit is required to secure the first training date. Payment in full is required at the first training session.

  2. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions.

  3. Private packages must be completed within the dates outlined in the contract. No refund will be granted for the unused portion of the package.

  4. In-home training cancellations are accepted with 48 hrs advanced notice. No credits or refunds will be granted for cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice.

  5. Dogs must be current on age-appropriate vaccinations. A class typically runs 35 to 50 minutes. All dogs should not eat within 2 hrs of training sessions. All dogs should potty before their class. Have a variety of treats your dog is crazy about for each class. 

  6. If a dog(s) is e reactive toward people, the dog must be on a leash or safely confined before the trainer enters your home.

 

Dog Boarding:

  1. A 25% deposit is required to secure dog boarding dates. Payment in full is required by the boarding start date. If additional days are required please notify LIPTPS within 3 days of the scheduled departure date. Additional board and train days will be charged at the rate of $75.00 per day. 

  2. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  3. If you cancel or need to change the date of your dog Boarding visit the following restrictions to apply:

  • Date changes made more than 7 days before the scheduled pick-up/start date may result in a credit that can be used towards any future services. 

  • Cancellations or date changes made less than 7 days before the start date will result in the forfeiture of payment. 

  • Any owner has the right to pick-up their dog before the scheduled drop-off/departure date, and doing so agrees to forfeit unused fees.

Board & Train:

  1. A 25% deposit is required to secure board & train dates. Payment in full is required by board and train start date. If additional days are required please notify LIPTPS within 3 days of the scheduled departure date. Additional board and train days will be charged at the rate of $160.00 per day. 

  2. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  3. If you cancel or need to change the date of your Board and Train the following restrictions to apply:

  • Date changes made more than 14 days before the scheduled pick-up/start date may result in a credit that can be used towards any future services if new times can't immediately be accommodated.

  • Cancellations or date changes made less than 14 days before the start date will result in the forfeiture of payment. A new deposit will be required to reserve a new training start date.

  • Any owner has the right to pick-up their dog before the scheduled drop-off/departure date, and doing so agrees to forfeit unused fees.

 

Refunds

Our dog training programs form a partnership between our client, their dog, and our dog trainers and thus refunds are not offered. The success of our programs depends on us performing our job correctly and you the owner following through and doing the homework utilizing the strategies we layout for you. If you're doing the follow-up, we will know, and we will do everything we can to get you and your dog to the finish line. 

After years of training, it's also evident when there is a minimum follow-up effort, and we may suggest a transfer from in-home to our board and train program.
